Dimitrie Teodosiu: A beautiful day through D'Orsey in Bucharest! Maybe we should shout, maybe cry or maybe become neutral, disinterested in what surrounds us, and yet.... We all go with the desire to immerse ourselves in Art Safari, to immerse ourselves in culture in temporary exhibitions, to be seen at the book fair or at street theater festivals. Sure, it's easier to be on Calea Victoriei or in the old center on Sunday to shoot two or three birds with one stone. Walking, beer, safari, food, a street theater and we are good for Monday. Man next to man. On Calea Victoriei, close to the domain of the Romanian Academy, we discover a U-shaped building, with a generous courtyard bordered by a wrought iron fence. The place seems deserted, almost nothing indicates that you can enter. No one takes you by the hand, no one wants you to see, to offer you the right to admire the art at home. Not brought through exhibitions made to spend the city hall budget and push the money into bottomless pockets. I entered the yard shyly, with a little fear that I would disturb someone from his sleep. The sleep of reason gives birth to monsters, so I bravely crossed the yard admiring the statues, trees, flowers and the dreams of the people who once hoped that we would enter there, that we would see Tonitza, dozens.... on Grigorescu, on Patrascu, on.... who do you want from us, not one, two but hundreds!!! If you propose to see Tonitza at Art Safari with two famous paintings, I suggest you see a few dozen there, along with a few hundred other works by the majority of Romanian painters. Nowhere will you have the opportunity to admire Romanian painting, sculpture and graphics as in those rooms we forgot because they are not in the Bucharest guides. You don't advertise, you don't display billboards, you only display almost empty spaces. But how full of history, value, shape and color. Go there so that you can be proud that you have seen almost everything that is worth in Romanian art! You will find everything there and even more!

W Fair: Beautiful building. There are three sections, a permanent art collection spanning a range of eastern European art, a temporary collection (which was excellent in July 2023), and an area that is set up to showcase the palace as it was originally built. I highly recommend buying the full ticket for all 3. The only negative comment is that the air conditioning is minimal so it can be quite warm in the exhibits in the summer.

Free coffee and water available.+Right in the heart of bars and entertainment. We have a front-looking room and it is amazing. It's surrounded by bars and delicatesens. Of course you can hear some music from downstairs only if you have the windows open, but hey, you're on holidays in the heart of Bucharest ❤️+Very helpful staff/owner. We arrived at 20:30 at night but we hadn't received the self-check in code, so we called Vilacrosse and the lovely gentleman who answered told us he would be with us in a minute to help us out. Actually, he came just in a few seconds and he gave us the code. He was very kind. 🙏+Breakfast is served downstairs, outside the building, at the first coffee shop on the right. The first day the service was very slow. It took us an hour to finish. Today, it was served within a reasonable time. You actually have 4 breakfast options to choose from. All options are full and very tasty.+The room, the view, the facilities, the price, the area, everything is AMAZING.-The only minus is the dead cockroaches in the balcony. Obviously, there has been a disinfection procedure since the building is very old. However, you can see enough dead cockroaches in the balcony which are very disgusting and terrifying since I'm not sure whether there are alive ones which can get in the room. 😳-Another minus is the breakfast variety. There are no fruits or vegetables in all 4 breakfast options. Pleeeeease we need to have some fresh fruits in the morning, not only bread and processed food. Thank you ❤️ 🤗I do recommend Vilacrosse. שי שלמה: המיקום מושלם. ממש צמוד לעיר העתיקה.גודל חדרים עצום. מקלחת ענקית עם שני כיורים, מקלחת גדולה ועוד. (לא באמת צריך את זה, אבל החדר ענק).המענה לפניות מהיר מאוד.מיני בר בחדר שמתמלא כול יום במים, נשנושים ובירה קרה ומכונת קפה שכיף להכין איתה קפה של בוקר.המקום מוערך קצת מעבר למה שצריך להיות מוערך.הניקיון בחדרים לא מהגבוהים שחווינו.לצערנו בערב השני במלון לא היו מים חמים בכלל באמצע המקלחת ונאלצנו להמתין לסידור התקלה אחרי שאנחנו עדכנו את אנשי המלון.הרעש מהכביש הראשי מאוד לא נעים. מפריע מאוד לישון בלילה, שומעים את תנועת המכוניות.הרעש והמוזיקה גם מהברים שנמצאים מתחת למלון מפריעה, בסופי שבוע מפריע הרבה יותר.הריח במקלחת היה הרבה פעמים לא נעים, ריח של ביוב עלה בעיקר בשעות הבוקר.לצערינו חווינו גם נמלים בחדר שינה ואף יותר גרוע התעוררנו באחד הבקרים בבוקר והיינו לנו בתוך החדר צמוד למטה שני תיקנים בוגרים גדולים.

Mushi Mushi: Embarrassing that you cannot park your car near the museum, although there are parking spaces, but you need a "badge". Even on hot days when you want to go in with your small child, there is no goodwill. Andreea Denisa: My experience was not a good one, for a museum that has no parking and the location being so central it’s quite bad. As advice do not take the car. The staff from the security check is very rude and doesn’t give any instructions, it’s like they sit and wait to get paid for doing nothing. Everything is under construction in the interior of the entrance. The exposition it’s ok, it’s a shame they do not invest in the organisation of the place and staff.

Onderling overleg met de andere gasten is aan te raden.

דמיטרי ריבו: The only thing make this hotel 5 star it the rates they charge for everything rooms drinks . This no more then 4 star. The view from. Window was to old rusty roofs . The lobby and reception was empty most of time. No staff they sit usually inside or smoking at garden. The spa is simple with small pool where had build in water jet and bubbles and fountain the jet didn't work the fountain also only bubbles . The dry sauna was not really hot and the hamam is just wet sauna not same hamam in turkish bath also wasn't hot.. rain shower didnt work also First evening we come the lady switch off everything 19 o'clock even they say all open till 23 she see us and switch on again. Second evening there was no one i try call reception for 2 minutes but no one answered. Because we were wet already we only stay pool. the room big nice but only 2 tea bags . Only filtered water . They charged extra just for we open the existing sofa bed for our daughter . We been in 4 star hotel with much better services and facilities . For 240 euro night this place really really overpriced. also location. Far from old town 20 min walk at least. we used uber . But have nice park near and have parking. I put photos of room view and the bar and reception how the look all time. Never see hotel 4 or 5 that had to search for the staff or that the reception not answer for 2 minutes and not at all. Romania was wonderful but this hotel not so much .
