Kenza Patt: Definitely my favourite bookstore in Bucharest. Friendly staff and always polite. Maybe it is a small store, but the variety of books that you can find there is the widest in the city. I am really grateful I can have that easy access to books in english for a really great price. They are honest and trustworthy. And the star of the show is lovely kitty 😁 he will always welcome you to his store with a big meow and assist you. What could be better than wandering around books and cuddling a cat at the same time?
Adina Bunduc: The best indie bookshop I found in Romania! ❤️ Nautilus English Books is my new favourite bookstore, because they have a wide range of books in English that I can choose from (both fiction and non fiction) at good prices and they have good quality services (I use to buy my books from their online shop and they are very efficient). Casian Stan: Amazing bookshop!+ it has a wide range of English Books, alot of very specific/obscure ones (like a book about photos that are "Accidentally Wes Anderson")+ the host is very kind and helping, (we arrived a little before closing time and he never said a word even though we stayed 30min after closing time - because we didn't knew the schedule beforehand)+ the books are very cheap. I didn't find any book anywhere cheaper than here+ the shop features a cat from time to time that strolls between the books

Patrick Popa: Probably the best English book store in town. Friendly staff that can order any book you desire online and give it a call when it is ready to be picked up from the store. You'll also be greeted by a cute cat walking through the volumes of books that will make you stay longer than anticipated. Overall great experience.

But you still can't buy online from your phone, because you can't get past a step where the chat box is superimposed on the button to proceed to the payment, which you can't just put aside, no matter in which position you hold the phone.In the store, 2 girls are constantly struggling to fulfill some orders, totally ignoring the customers present, in the conditions where almost nothing is worth knowing if you are going in or not. I asked about 2 titles and was told that they don't have them physically. I found one by myself.

Razvan Lerescu: A really disappointing experience. The person tending the desk invited me to leave the store at 19:52 (right after entering) saying he had already closed, although they are supposed to close at 20:00, and I already knew what I wanted to buy so it would only have taken him a minute to scan the book and process the payment. Disgusting. Maybe they should post the real opening hours so that I know exactly when to bother the lazy clerk.
José Ignacio Zomeño: The books are not very good ordered or specially good priced and the clerk was not friendly AT ALL. He told me to put my surgical mask back on after I removed it for two seconds to clean up my nose with a kleenex (my girlfriend did the same thing five minutes before and he did not say nothing, curiously enough).I grabbed two books, priced 22 and 58 lei respectively. When I approached the clerk to pay the books, he charged me 26 and 68 respectively. When I told him that he did not update the prices written on the back of the books and that he should have told me the actual prices before collecting the money, he reacted quite aggresively telling me that it was his mistake and that he had not had time to update them in a really loud tone.I paid the book and went away, but I am never returning again if I come back to Bucharest and I don't recommend the bookstore to anyone. In Spain at least, the price you see posted on the item you wanna buy is the price you finally pay, if the clerk does not update it is NOT the client's problem. To add insult to injury, he (the clerk) reacted with bad manners. Maybe he had a bad day, but that's no way to treat a client in any circumstance.Aside from the angry clerk, it is a regular English bookstore with books you can find in any other place.
Bloodmoon Beard: A very diverse selection in books: poetry, philosophy, and romanian literature translated into English. The seller that helped me today was very friendly, and gave me some really good recommendations about romanian writers, and I endes up getting one. Will definitaly visit this place again when I'm back in Romania. Worth every and all 5 stars.

The staff is particularly kind, they all speak Romanian very well, they don't bother you when you browse the shelves, but they help you when you have questions.
