AFKology: The interior is cozy with natural accents such as wood or wool. We stayed in a room on the ground floor, but next time we would like to stay upstairs where we understood that you can see directly into the kitchen. I liked the fact that you are served with still or sparkling water from the house. At first, you are asked if you have food allergies or intolerances. The menu is a tasting menu consisting of twelve dishes: four amuse bouches, three appetizers, two main courses, a pre-dessert, and two desserts. You will not get up fully satiated, but there is just enough food. Each dish is presented by the waiter so that the dinner becomes an experience itself, an incredibly special one. My favorite dishes were the starter with new potatoes and wild garlic, the bread-and-butter service and the dessert with baked yeast ice cream. We had a wonderful and memorable experience at Noua Bucatarie Romaneasca.

ILANY SCHWARTZ: It was considered one of the oldest and most beautiful restaurants in Bucharest, with good food and moderate prices. Now, it became a "factory", long wait, and meals from very good to less than medium quality. The french fries arrived almost cold, the mititei ( still good) ...I asked to be well done, and they served it almost "vivant". At least, the mustard was very good.
Maksymilian Majer: This is a typical tourist location. It was recommended to me by at least five different people as the great place for local cuisine. While the building and the atmosphere have a great vibe with live music and dance performances, the food isn't the best I've had. The local skinless sausages were nice, but the French fries were just awful - not crispy at all. There are better options to eat local food in Bucharest.

Basca nu era nici calda un pic calie. O pelicula de ulei si foarte foarte otetita. Nu inteleg bucatarul de ce nu lasa lumea sa isi puna cat otet doreste. Oribila.Crema de legume a fost acceptabila.Mici au fost si ei ok dar cartofii prajiti jale.Una peste alta am realizat faptul ca, Carul cu Bere este doar un nume, un brand comercial ce vinde bine si atrage turistii dar mancarea lasa mult de dorit.Pacat!!!!!

Ivona Octavia Laiu: Expensive, but worth it. They change the menu once a season. They have 2 short menus and 1 long tasting menu.The short menus cost 550 RON each and the long one 650 RON. So, for a dinner in two + some cocktails and the included tip, it will cost you about 1400 RON in total.You can make an online reservation and you'll get a reply on your mail with the menus. They accept only card payment. All the details will be on the mail, except the bar menu (cocktail, beer, wine, etc.).I spent there around 3 hours with my boyfriend. The courses/dishes were small, but tasty and presented to us in a tasteful manner. In some photos I've already seen from previous reviews, the menu items seem bigger. They are actually small like the palm of your hand, but very nourishing. I felt already full after the appetizers.The music was smooth jazz (coming from amazing state of the art speakers), the lightning seemed perfect for a time in two.What I enjoyed the most was the tour of the restaurant and its history, at the end of our dinner.The initial house was projected by the same architect of the Arch of Triumph (our Romanian version).It belonged to a boyar and after remained in ruins. It was rehabilitated by the original plan. The walls in the room we had reservation was made of black ceramic tiles - very rare.The floor was made of river stones, the paintings belong to a Romanian artist and everything from the menu is with organic Romanian ingredients. Even the liquid soap from the bathrooms (which smells addictive) is made by a Romanian company.For tourists I think the local wines and their stories would be a delight, too.I also asked about the name of the restaurant. It's called Kane after a Hawaiian god.It was a special dinner and evening for us and we fully enjoyed.

It is located inside of a renovated building with a wonderful interior.What I have to say is that this experience is within the top 5 of my life. Once the Michelin guide decides to extend to Romania, I am sure they will receive a star! I understand it is pricey but if you can afford it give it a try! Bogdan Andrei: Riding the new Romanian cuisine wave like a pro surfer.This restaurant is a must go to anyone that is in the search not for the next meal but for the next level experience. A 2-3 hours culinary experience depending on how much time you want to invest... In you.The restaurant is located close to the Old Town, in a very lively old house, renovated and brought back to life by the owners, with no small investment, around half a million euros. This says something about their commitment to good taste and planning to make this location a flagship for their business. Went on a Saturday with a colleague to try their menu and see what is all the hype about them. Had the short menu with wine pairing. The food was.... amazing, from the presentation to the taste. Also I went there a little sceptic when I heard they are a fine dining restaurant... Lots of restaurants in Bucharest advertise themselves as fine dining but at best they are fine cuisine. These guys are the real deal, after each serving they changed the plates, the cutlery, the only thing they didn't changed were the lights which were also cleverly designed to put the food in a "good light", with beams hitting the plates right in the center.The wines, are mostly Romanian, and from small wineries so you might drink there wines that are exclusevly sold to them. I could write more about the food but you need to go and discover it for yourselves, and be aware that they change the menu according to the season as they use food that are most common in the season.In conclusion, your time is an investment and if you want to gain something from it, I recommend you this awesome restaurant.

Dacă vreau eu să-ți las 10%-30% tips -o fac cu drag, dacă nici nu mă întrebi și mi-o încasezi fără să mă anunți în prealabil- că poate n-am văzut pe bon și nu te deranjează încă 150-200 lei - sau poate nu consider că vreau /meriți asta, o să numesc această taxă furt și încărcarea notei de plată a clientului fără consimțământ.De exemplu, dacă mergi singur să bei o limonadă și o cafea pe lângă cei aprox. 50 lei nota vei mai plăti probabil încă 50 lei "taxa de servicii" - deranjul de a ți-o aduce la masă. Asta înseamnă deja tips 100% și jecmăneală pe față. Dar poate sunt eu mai pe sărăcie și acest restaurant-terasă nu e pt săraci. :

George Butunoiu: The aristocratically elegant restaurant in the center of Bucharest has recently had a new chef, a young Latino with the allure of a movie character: slim, handsome, open, cheerful, talkative. He studied Haute Cuisine at high schools, worked in some of the most famous Michelin-starred and luxury restaurants in Spain and France before moving to Bucharest.Le Bistrot Francais Relais et Chateaux is the same as we've known it for so many years, of course, and rightly so, it would have no reason to change something that looks impeccable. The salons, like from a vintage movie, are also being preserved during the pandemic, but they extended the terrace, went with it beyond the gate, on the very wide sidewalk, specially built in this way, for terraces like in Paris. Elegant tables, pots with large and expensive plants, the luxury that the center of Bucharest deserved to regain.

Certains trouveront cela peut-être un peu trop silencieux, mais ça nous a convenu, de notre côté.Nous avons pris le menu Trio de Homard.A savoir, car ce n'est pas écrit sur le menu, si une personne le prend, l'autre doit aussi choisir la même chose (au lieu de choisir des plats à la carte).Petits amuse-bouches (rien de particulier) pour commencer, et trio de beurres avec pain (plutôt goûteux).Le tartare, préparé devant vous, est excellent ! On peut le demander plus ou moins épicé.La bisque qui suit est agréable mais n'est pas aussi bonne que le tartare et le dernier plat. Un ravioli (au homard) dans un velouté de kéfir et noix de coco. On ne sent pas assez le goût du homard. Ça reste bon, néanmoins.Le dernier plat (queue de homard) est très bon.Le dressage des plats, le service et la vaisselle sont irréprochables.Petites mignardises pour finir, assez réussies.Au final, une très bonne expérience.
