JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel: what do users think?

Allen Gilliland: Slow wifi, no sports channels on TV, noisy air conditioning, etc. Overpriced, posh corporate vibe with Designer shops and fancy marble floored lobby. Reception called my room late at night and woke me up to get credit card details. Enough said. Way better boutique hotel options.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More

Connor Anderson: Room was nice, hotel is quite big with lots of high end shops if that's your thing. Didn't get a chance to go to the pool and spa but it looked nice from photos and is included. The location is the only issue with this as it's not really walking distance to the main tourist areas. There is a huge church being built over the road which is very nice and a smaller one right in front of it which is worth a little visit.
Jesse (JP): Had an amazing experience in Bucharest. Eating at JW Marriott was a great place to stay and relax. The food and service is something you will not find in the States anymore. The history here is a fantastic experience that you need to see for yourself. We felt safe the entire time. Don't listen to these people who say everything is dangerous outside the USA. They don't leave their homes, and most are scared of their own shadow. Enjoy your life!! And tip well, these people work hard for it.Rooms: Very clean rooms.Safety: This place, my wife and family, felt really safe.Noteworthy details: There are many guides available in the area that are happy to help you learn about the history of Bucharest. They are a very good price.
Floraria Dani: Mancare buna, foarte buna! Puțin e muzica nu ar strica..

"Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum: what do users think?
Marian Constantinescu: An extraordinary place where you will go back in time. An opportunity for children and adults to spend a day in the world of the Romanian village and taste Romanian culinary delights. You can also participate in creative workshops inspired by village life. It must be visited!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Doina Velicu: The entrance is extremely expensive for what the museum offers...that is, nothing more, many houses are closed and a large part dilapidated.
Antoniu Berar: An excellent location!
Marilu Suarez: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended NoMore
Adina Calnan: Highly recommend it. Very nice to see all the different homes of different regions. Very authentic. We walked on our own. The QR code for the audio tour did not work. I inquired in the smaller gift shop, and was told that other guests have reported that it sometimes works, and sometimes it doesn't.Was also told if you want an in-person tour, you must book in advance
Szpindel: 20230701_Szpindel. Wszystko zamknięte a sam skansen przypominał bardziej jarmark i festyn niż muzeum. Straganów z lakalsami mnóstwo. Do tego brak jakiegoś schematu zwiedzania. Trzeba się wracać, kluczyć - no słabo.
Gad Shoshan: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended NoMore
Thierry Lebourg: Very disappointed: it said in the Internet that it was opened and when I arrived there it was closed. No notice to be seen. An unfriendly woman just told me :“closed today“. It reminded me of my first visit 50years ago in the „good old“ „communist“ times…

King Mihai I Park: what do users think?
Adi Dragomirescu: Beautiful!
Chris Liascos: Beautiful lake next to Hard Rock.
David Vasile: Full of big, green spaces and alleys, you can bring and play with whatever you please, nice lake view and also a great, arranged place for children connected to the park. Alleys are well built. You may notice it's not really taken care of as it should be but, it's enjoyable nonetheless.
mari luc: The park is unkempt, badly managed, a mess! Like in the west, right?
Nuno Bras: Amazing huge garden, very quiet and chilled.A lot of people peacefully fishing or walking their dogs.Perfect for a walk, bicycle ride, eating and drinking along the lake.
Paul Dumitriu: Restrooms: Prea puține
Bogdan Hlevca: The largest lake in Bucharest. The park is decent but there are neglected parts. The prices in the restaurants are super high. Unless you want to impress your partner go somewhere else to eat.
Cristi Chiper: The Herastrau Park is very poorly arranged, it looks quite pathetic!
Alexandru Dumitru Tataru: Best park in Bucharest. You cand find a lot of things to do.Roaba de Cultura is a great place to spend some time during the summer - chilling, good music, you are allowed with the dog, lot of kids, also good people.
R Raluca: Beautiful, but care should be taken to restore some parts
Paul Joldes: It's very important to take care of yourself. Everyone's lives are so busy. Take at least an hour a day to recharge and do whatever makes you better. For grown-ups, whether it's a spa, sitting in a park with a book, or coffee, take time for yourself
Tudorică Marian: Good for walking
Mohammad Al-ageel:
Miruna Covor: Big park, around a lake, quiet areas, pleasant. Not so well maintained, especially in those zones that are not so visible.
Laurentiu Gheorghiu: Beautiful, clean, nature!.
Camelia Orlando: An exclusiviste restaurant with sophisticated food, very polite staff, excellent atmosphere!
Emma: On the last visit, a disaster, garbage and mess at her home. From a beautiful park it became a dump.

canal cinci: Paragina. Rusine celor care mai sunt si platiti!
ILANY SCHWARTZ: Most beautiful ( and the oldest) garden in Bucharest. A place for nature's beauty and relaxation.
Avishay Yakobi: Nice to wander. There is nothing special.
Alex Neagu: Clean, neat
dina cristina: Interesting
Luiza Rusoiu: I am torn on Cișmigiu. This time around I appreciated the fact that they filled up the lake area and populated it with boats. The enjoyment level varies greatly between areas of the park, but overall pleasant.
Cofrance SARL: Liked! I recommend!
Costinel Sas: A mess of a park, stinky and full of crows!!!!!!!! SHAME!!!
Dimitrie Teodosiu: One of the most loved locations in Bucharest, loved by children and adults alike. Beautiful landscapes, a lake with boats and hydro bikes, vegetation, left a little bit wild. A beautiful space with a timeless air. It is at least worth crossing in our hurried roads.
Dorin Dobre: Good bear, great tasty snacks, friendly and professional personnel.
Ionescu Mihai: Many improvements are still needed
Cristian Stan: Cișmigiu Park is one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in Bucharest. It offers a variety of activities and attractions and is considered a favorite place for relaxation and promenade.Cișmigiu Park was inaugurated in 1847 and was designed by the German landscape architect Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Meyer. This was the first public park in Bucharest and was created in a romantic and landscape style. The park was named after Cișmigiu Kiosk, a lakeside cafe that still operates today. One of the most beautiful attractions of the park is its central lake. Here, visitors can enjoy boat or carriage rides while admiring the park's scenic scenery.Cișmigiu Park is certainly one of the most beloved and valuable green spaces in Bucharest, offering opportunities for relaxation and fun for all its visitors. It is an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and spend time in nature.
Fwteini Kourni: Lovely place to relax and have a pint on a hot day
Madalina Tihoc: The park overall is nice and has a great atmosphere. Lots of small cafes and the lake really helps you to enjoy the hot weather in the capital, though more maintenance of the green spaces will be required.
Alexandrina Cojocaru: Desolate, unkempt, few flowers, dry vegetation in places, alleys full of potholes...Playground: NeîngrijitRestrooms: Vechi, cu aspect neîngrijit, puține
Mihai Vasiliu: The capital's oldest park deserves to be better maintained, cleaner, more arranged...
Mehmet Ulug: Nice parkPlayground: There are parks for children in different places, it is safe

brah f: I don't know what to say. I rented a hotel for €400 a night, a deluxe room. From the suite, only the price and the view from the window were revealed. I had dinner in the restaurant at the hotel, ordered pasta carbonara and it was prepared as if it was the first time I heard about it. Then I ordered octopus in sauce, but unfortunately I was not warned that it would be very spicy. Then I ordered dessert, which I wasn't thrilled about either. paid a rather high price for spoiled food that was impossible to eat. The room has an old shower, I don't even have one at home anymore. The balcony glass is frosted not from the factory, but from time already. The door to the balcony opens in such a way that I had to consult with my grandmother, a very old and incomprehensible lock. Going out on the balcony and looking down, you can see a wing covered with cigarette butts in the gap. In the evening, I walked to the hotel and on the territory of the hotel, between the thuja trees, a bunch of cockroaches finished eating someone's ice cream. Somewhere five minutes from the hotel, a gypsy will stalk you to share lei.I'm in culture shock, honestly.
