Birla Ciprian: A typical French dish with a smooth and creamy pumpkin soup and a tiny slice of foie Gras. The way how the foie Gros was cook was outstanding. The richness of pumkins combined with the flavor of foie Gras makes this two the right pairs.The main dish Danube walley bisque was a fresh dish, tasty but not as good as I expected.Remark:Taking into account that this year I will reach 1 million views with my photos take it from restaurants, I think that I have enough expertise to underline the fact that the wines and the champagne are more expensive than the rest of Europe and also for most of them you don't have the possibility to order by the glass!Maybe this can be one of the reasons why the restaurant was almost empty on Saturday at 20:00.

George Butunoiu: The aristocratically elegant restaurant in the center of Bucharest has recently had a new chef, a young Latino with the allure of a movie character: slim, handsome, open, cheerful, talkative. He studied Haute Cuisine at high schools, worked in some of the most famous Michelin-starred and luxury restaurants in Spain and France before moving to Bucharest.Le Bistrot Francais Relais et Chateaux is the same as we've known it for so many years, of course, and rightly so, it would have no reason to change something that looks impeccable. The salons, like from a vintage movie, are also being preserved during the pandemic, but they extended the terrace, went with it beyond the gate, on the very wide sidewalk, specially built in this way, for terraces like in Paris. Elegant tables, pots with large and expensive plants, the luxury that the center of Bucharest deserved to regain.

Certains trouveront cela peut-être un peu trop silencieux, mais ça nous a convenu, de notre côté.Nous avons pris le menu Trio de Homard.A savoir, car ce n'est pas écrit sur le menu, si une personne le prend, l'autre doit aussi choisir la même chose (au lieu de choisir des plats à la carte).Petits amuse-bouches (rien de particulier) pour commencer, et trio de beurres avec pain (plutôt goûteux).Le tartare, préparé devant vous, est excellent ! On peut le demander plus ou moins épicé.La bisque qui suit est agréable mais n'est pas aussi bonne que le tartare et le dernier plat. Un ravioli (au homard) dans un velouté de kéfir et noix de coco. On ne sent pas assez le goût du homard. Ça reste bon, néanmoins.Le dernier plat (queue de homard) est très bon.Le dressage des plats, le service et la vaisselle sont irréprochables.Petites mignardises pour finir, assez réussies.Au final, une très bonne expérience.

Mariana Ardeleanu: I visited the place at the invitation of a friend and I was impressed by how the skilled chef can convey that vibe of Paris, that love for his country France, through the dishes he cooks. Larisa: I do not recommend! From the clumsiness of the waiter to the dishes that are very salty, or that do not correspond to the details on the menu. Most of the dishes were not available, which greatly reduces all the "French sophistication" they want to have, menus are only in Romanian, and the waiter did not even speak English, let alone French! Maybe for an evening when they have a live concert it's worth it, because they prepare beforehand, but I don't recommend eating from time to time at all. Do not be swayed by the menu on the website because it does not correspond to what they serve in the restaurant. I had some demands when the dishes start from 60 RON.
Gratiela Nanu: I ate 20 minutes ago at this restaurant. The prices absolutely do not justify the quality of the products. I do not recommend.
Milvussan Milvussan (Milvussan): Uno de los mejores sitios donde nos han servido de toda la ciudad. Bien cuidado y con carta limitada pero impecable (3 platos por cada sección) para un español no es caro pero es de gama media alta.

Ciprian Radu: We didn't enjoy that much the hole experience. The service staff, a very young person, was very kind but we had to wait for him several times, even though we were only 2 tables. The food was not great at all, it was served cold and my beef stake was very salty. The bread seemed to be old even though we eat quite soon after the opening hours. We had a bottle of French wine which was the highlight of our dinner. Overall the restaurant (which I think, aims at being Fine Dining) is very expensive for what it offers, maybe they will improve.

Andrei Lenard: We had a fantastic tome at Bistro Ateneu. They have just moved to a new location (former Bistro Francais), in an old house which is beautifully renovated, and with this occasion also updated their menu. The food is under the concept of New Romanian Cuisine and every item we tried from the menu was quite exquisite, being a successful reinterpretation of a specific ingredient or classical Romanian dish, but with some sort of twist, which surprises in a pleasant way. We particularly enjoyed the zander, as well as the Caviar with sour cream and pickled lovage, which is a splendid balancing act of acidity, sweetness and flavor. The wine pairing was perfect and very well matched to the dishes and the final desert is a perfect ending to a great journey. The staff was very friendly and attentive, as well as knowledgeable about the food and the wines. Highly recommended!
