Anto: I do not recommend. A very high price for very bad service. I paid for 2 washings and 2 separate dryings, one bag with black and one with white. I waited 8 hours instead of 4 as was initially mentioned to me and my clothes were still wet and gray instead of white.

KASS: You pay for washing separately, whites and blacks, and they wash them together. I threw away all my white clothes. Mockery! Not to mention that I waited 8 hours for a bag of clothes.

CC T: It’s 23 lei to wash and 40 lei to dry. It’s singularly the most expensive load of laundry I have ever done in over 60 countries. The lady insisted that to would take two loads to dry 1 load of wash. I agreed to 2 loads at 20 min but was charged for 2 loads for 40 min anyhow. To add insult to injury, the laundry was less dry than 1 @20 min cycle for the same load of laundry at the EasyWash Gare de Nord. @ Easywash, my clothes ended up cleaner and dryer for 25 lei total versus frustration and not completely dried clothes for 63 lei, although I had to fold my old laundry. it would have been well worth it to avoid the ickiness that was created by my interactions with this lady. There are other options like Washescu as well. To young entrepreneurs who are in need of business ideas, laundromats in centrally located areas of Sofia and Bucharest are essentially needed. Combine them with other businesses like cafes and hostels, they will keep you busy.

El Gato Oro: A strange experience at first, but 20 lei total to do all my laundry versus 188 at the mall, best place to come. Just make sure you bring cash bills for the machine. The machines all have automated detergent and softener. Brilliant.
