Jeanette Mignone: On our last day in Bucharest my daughter got very sick and we could not fly back to the US. Dr. Briot was amazing with her, she did a flu test thank God which was positive, and gave detailed instructions on what to do. She was very caring and thorough and speaks English as well. If we ever live in Romania I would choose her for our Pediatrician!

Naralia: Well. In this clinic my daughter was "diagnosed" with very serious conditions named rethinopathy pigmentosa and threat of retinal detachment. Both diagnosis are life threatining causing irreversible blindness so it was very stressful for all of us. However "specialists"did not refer us to any other clinic nor any advanced technologies were used to put such diagnosis. Therefore we went emergent to university clinic in other country specialized in all pathologies of retina and undergone advanced comprehensive investigations such CT eye, fundus angiography ,optic nerve analysis etc and found with great relief that there is NO any pathology whatsoever related to retina and overall other tissues in eye. More on it was found that vision of my daughter improved so she needs weaker glasses,which was never suggested in kidsoptic I strongly NOT recommend this clinic to anyone. Also prices for simple eye exam are insane. I noticed they tried to remove my review. So I repost it again

Eye drops were administered to the child only once, although other doctors administer them three times at 10-minute intervals. The conclusion was that there is no need for glasses even though the child did not read the last lines...the doctor claiming that it is possibly an invention of the child behind which is a hidden desire to wear glasses like the mother. Seeing me upset, he recommended that I go to another renowned clinic because he does not have the equipment of sufficient performance for thorough investigations. I asked for a medical report and I only received the copy after the measurements from the machine.

Daria A: Worst experience ever.I called them because we have 3 months waiting list in our clinic at piata Muncii and I was very surprised when they made an appointment on next working day.And... doctor did not even really look at the child, did not look at previous tests, boasted of his equipment, which I have even seen in a state clinic. When two previous doctors confirmed that the child needed glasses, this doctor said that glasses would not help the child and actually kid has good vision but an urgent operation was needed and of course recommended one private clinic, which "he doesn't collaborate with", he couldn't explain me the diagnostic until he read to me about strabismus from a textbook, then they ripped off another 110 lei for the "investigation", which they didn't mention before. They think it was an investigation reading a textbook on front of client, I could make same investigation for free searching on Google. As a result I left there in complete horror. 340 lei out of my pocket and no help at all.I advise you not to take your children to this clinic, if you really want to help your kid, look for other places even if you need to wait 2-3 month for an appointment, it means there are good doctors.Maybe they make glasses with high quality, although I'm not going to order from them.Reply to comment:Doctor Dimitrios, when greek works in Romania and indicates the nationality of the patient, what "a very professional doctor"! especially when you speak Romanian with the worst accent and you can't properly explain yourself. We hope that by the time she is a teenager, she will not need glasses any more.
