Ivona Octavia Laiu: Expensive, but worth it. They change the menu once a season. They have 2 short menus and 1 long tasting menu.The short menus cost 550 RON each and the long one 650 RON. So, for a dinner in two + some cocktails and the included tip, it will cost you about 1400 RON in total.You can make an online reservation and you'll get a reply on your mail with the menus. They accept only card payment. All the details will be on the mail, except the bar menu (cocktail, beer, wine, etc.).I spent there around 3 hours with my boyfriend. The courses/dishes were small, but tasty and presented to us in a tasteful manner. In some photos I've already seen from previous reviews, the menu items seem bigger. They are actually small like the palm of your hand, but very nourishing. I felt already full after the appetizers.The music was smooth jazz (coming from amazing state of the art speakers), the lightning seemed perfect for a time in two.What I enjoyed the most was the tour of the restaurant and its history, at the end of our dinner.The initial house was projected by the same architect of the Arch of Triumph (our Romanian version).It belonged to a boyar and after remained in ruins. It was rehabilitated by the original plan. The walls in the room we had reservation was made of black ceramic tiles - very rare.The floor was made of river stones, the paintings belong to a Romanian artist and everything from the menu is with organic Romanian ingredients. Even the liquid soap from the bathrooms (which smells addictive) is made by a Romanian company.For tourists I think the local wines and their stories would be a delight, too.I also asked about the name of the restaurant. It's called Kane after a Hawaiian god.It was a special dinner and evening for us and we fully enjoyed.

Food was excellent, service friendly and attentive and the Chef's Table rewarded us with prime view of the inner workings of the kitchen. It is located inside of a renovated building with a wonderful interior.What I have to say is that this experience is within the top 5 of my life. The food is extraordinary with a lot of clever ideas, a dreamy ambience and an excellent service. Many kudos to the maitre d’! Once the Michelin guide decides to extend to Romania, I am sure they will receive a star! I understand it is pricey but if you can afford it give it a try! Bogdan Andrei: Riding the new Romanian cuisine wave like a pro surfer.This restaurant is a must go to anyone that is in the search not for the next meal but for the next level experience. A 2-3 hours culinary experience depending on how much time you want to invest... In you.The restaurant is located close to the Old Town, in a very lively old house, renovated and brought back to life by the owners, with no small investment, around half a million euros. This says something about their commitment to good taste and planning to make this location a flagship for their business. Went on a Saturday with a colleague to try their menu and see what is all the hype about them. Had the short menu with wine pairing. The food was.... amazing, from the presentation to the taste. Also I went there a little sceptic when I heard they are a fine dining restaurant... Lots of restaurants in Bucharest advertise themselves as fine dining but at best they are fine cuisine. These guys are the real deal, after each serving they changed the plates, the cutlery, the only thing they didn't changed were the lights which were also cleverly designed to put the food in a "good light", with beams hitting the plates right in the center.The wines, are mostly Romanian, and from small wineries so you might drink there wines that are exclusevly sold to them. I could write more about the food but you need to go and discover it for yourselves, and be aware that they change the menu according to the season as they use food that are most common in the season.In conclusion, your time is an investment and if you want to gain something from it, I recommend you this awesome restaurant.

George Butunoiu: The aristocratically elegant restaurant in the center of Bucharest has recently had a new chef, a young Latino with the allure of a movie character: slim, handsome, open, cheerful, talkative. He studied Haute Cuisine at high schools, worked in some of the most famous Michelin-starred and luxury restaurants in Spain and France before moving to Bucharest.Le Bistrot Francais Relais et Chateaux is the same as we've known it for so many years, of course, and rightly so, it would have no reason to change something that looks impeccable. The salons, like from a vintage movie, are also being preserved during the pandemic, but they extended the terrace, went with it beyond the gate, on the very wide sidewalk, specially built in this way, for terraces like in Paris. Elegant tables, pots with large and expensive plants, the luxury that the center of Bucharest deserved to regain.

Huib Van Tilburg: Dit is het Steak Restaurant van het Marriot Hotel. Ideale plek om je met taxi/uber te laten brengen en halen.Het restaurant bevind zich op de eerste etage. Bij binnenkomst helemaal achterin de marmeren trap rechts omhoog en dan weer terug naar achteren lopen.De bediening is hier zeer vriendelijk en professioneel, echt wat je verwacht in een restaurant. De kaart is praktisch en duidelijk ingericht en er is voor ieder wat wils. De steaks zijn hier van Top kwaliteit en dat proef je terug in de rijke smaak.De wijnkaart is ook zeer uitgebreid en de wijnen die ik op heb (lokale Roemeense) waren outstanding. Mijn tafelgenoot had een Old Fashioned die ook echt goed gemaakt was. Niet zo lafjes maar echt waar je op hoopt.Wat ook leuk is dat wij bij de US Prime steaks een mes aan tafel mochten uitzoeken. Dit was wel een extra beleving.Al met al een hele dikke aanrader als je van steaks, wijn, cocktails en goede ambiance houdt.

Adelina Sandu: I chose this place based on the reviews. I say with disappointment that the score of 4.3 does not reflect reality. Maybe the food is good, but unfortunately we didn't get to that point. We ordered something to drink and asked the waiter to leave us the food menu, not having decided what we want to order yet. The waiter's answer was that he can't leave the menu on the table because it doesn't look nice and there is a risk of it getting stained, so he took it from us. I do not recommend this place because of the staff.

Saqer Alammar: It’s a nice or fairly fancy spot in the Old Town, as part of the Hilton’s lobby. The burger was good, but nothing special. I had the Blue cheese burger. What threw me off was the waitress’ desperation for me to pay the bill. I was still working on my fries when she had approached me for the second time asking me if she can take my plate away. Mind you the restaurant was nearly empty, so I couldn’t understand why she was in a rush.

Richard Hassel: Had the beef burger and honestly it's close to a really really good experience. Ambience is good, service good, fries were the best I've had (not sure you can call them fries really - try them and see what I mean). However, they lost me on the burger itself. It was overdone and slightly bland. Get some salt on there, maybe some additional spices and fry it till its just barely pink inside and juice.. That's the proper way. If they'd done that this would have EASILY been 5/5 and a big recommendation. I feel a bit strict giving 4/5,vut honestly it just could've been perfect... Know what I mean?
Hadar Shmuelov: Great place, I stayed in the Hilton's so that was my go - to restaurant.The food is nice, I had Omelettes, Ceasar Salad, Burger (with blue cheese!) And cheese cake, all was good.The service is absolutely great, we we're taken care of by a wonderful lady named Daniella, she took care of all our needs and she did delightfully.Of course everyone was very nice, but she was exceptional.If you appreciate good food and service in the Old Town, that's the place.

Freek!: As to be expected, food and wine is good. Service is great, in our case by Mihaela with a little help from Dani. You may discuss the price level but it is in the Radisson Blu. Service is able to advise on menu and matching wine, not just suggesting the most expensive one. Professional and never uncomfortable, preparing steak tartare at the table, initiating an off-the-menu dessert.If you stay in the hotel, no need to go outside, enjoy this fine kitchen.
