Dr F C Deliu: Quite possibly the worst private school on the area. Their online classes are less than an hour a day, insufficient time is spent on learning and the administration is quite poor, and instead send endless amounts of email to give the impression they are working hard when in fact the teachers are hardly working. Every parent (dozens) I have spoken to is unhappy with the school, but it has the brand name and lives off that, but this past year it was exposed with its incompetence in handling the pandemic and many families have finally transferred, as have we and we could not be happier with our new school that actually places the children above profits.

Jacob Dore: The new extension of the ASE is the latest reminder of how Bucharest's architectural heritage is being destroyed with the erection of cheap glass panel facades next to beautiful historic buildings. The destruction started with Ceausescu razing a fifth of old Bucharest (aka Ceausima -- portmanteau from Hiroshima) to make way for Pyongyang-style boulevards lined with commmie blocks, and it continues today with corrupt officials and incompetent architects who have zero respect and appreciation for the aesthetic integrity of this historic city.Dear tourists and locals who care: don't just shake your head in disbelief, make yourselves heard. Write a Google review and tell the locals and officials what you think if you are in the area. Bucharest has become a city of such low expectations and standards that anything new and shiny has become acceptable. This "better than nothing" mentality needs to change.

Stefan Petrea: They made an extension of the official building which looks terrible from the street view considering it's historic site with patrimonium buildings. They were not supposed to build glass facades on that area (at least not with an architecture competition winning project) but they did it anyway. I don't want to imagine driving in that area at the exact moment of the day when the glass will reflect the light on the drivers eyes and literally blind them. You can see the level of corruption in the city just by understanding what strings they were pulled to get this "thing" made. One architect wrote about this building and it's illegal development on facebook and they even had the audacity to threaten him with a lawsuit. Such a shame.
