Mihaela Dru: I went with my husband because we wanted to make sure that we don't have any genetic disease that we don't know about that we can pass on to the child. They explained to us exactly what they were going to test, what diseases the test covers and recommended that we take the result to the gynecologist only after a geneticist doctor has also seen it. The team really seems to know what this job "eats" with. After this experience, my skepticism about the medical side in Romania was reduced, at least for newer and exotic specializations such as genetics. I think it's a must, not a fad when you think about pregnancy.
