ROLANG School: what do users think?
Mr J L: Great intensive A2 2-week course. Never did I believe I would be able to read, understand and speak Romanian that fast. An incredible format with 4 hours every day, 3 hours each morning with only a couple of other students and 1 hour in the afternoon, and most of all, two different and complementary teachers over two weeks which enable us to get used to different methods, different voices and tones, different styles. Good grammar fundamentals to grasp the gist of the verbs and be ready with A2 to go outside and speak to everyone as well as understand posters, signs or press articles. Thank you to Andreea and Livia!
Very good language school. Passed A1 and A2, I will continue on B1. 👍🏻
Daniil Bannikov: I am enjoying my experience at ROLANG. I have completed the A1 level of Romanian at this school and currently pursuing A2. My experience has been very good so far, and the the instructor is attentive, knowledgeable, and fun :)I would recommend ROLANG to anyone considering to study Romanian, even if just to learn some basics. The classes combine a good mixture of reading, listening, grammar, speaking, and activities which makes the learning well rounded and enjoyable. In my experience, the class sizes have not been big, and I really enjoyed that because you get more individualized attention and chance to practice Romanian. All in all, great experience and great people :)
Priyanka Shetye: Thanks for A-1 level sessions! They have helped me a lot. Specially, the way Roxana helped me learn the language is very commanding and exceptional. I thank you and her for this.I recommend this School for any one interested in learning Romanian Language. They share a lot of material to develop the linguist acumen, instead of emphasizing on grammar-corrections since the beginning.I am looking forward to joining A-2 level soon!
Jens Schröder: I took a combined course containing cultural immersion, Romanian history, education system in Romania and basic Romanian language structure at Rolang School in April 2023. It was wonderful in every regard: The teachers were real professionals and utmost friendly, the curriculum engaging and progressive and the content absolutely fitting for my needs and interests. They even followed up with additional course materials via e-mail and communication before, while and after the course was exemplary. I can highly recommend the school!
Drew Beck: I started online intensive Romanian group classes in spring 2020, just as the pandemic was beginning. I continued through 2020 and eventually switched into conversation classes with the director, Mona, and can highly recommend Rolang! The online option was highly useful to me based on my schedule and family obligations. I started to learn Romanian for family reasons, but I now live in Romania and naturally use Romanian every single day at work and in my daily life.In addition to the quality of the courses and instructors at Rolang, the diversity of the students in each course guarantees that every single session will be interesting and stimulating. I made some great friends through my Rolang courses. The Rolang textbook and workbook are, as far as I know, the most comprehensive Romanian language learning material out there (and yes you can buy them even if not taking a class with Rolang). The Rolang staff were very prompt with communications, and registration was a breeze.Highly recommend, give it a try!
Veaceslav Cușnir: Rolang is an outstanding Romanian language school that offers a superb online learning experience for students. Despite not having visited their physical facilities, I was impressed with the dedication and passion displayed by their teachers throughout my online classes. Their love for the Romanian language and culture was infectious, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I had a positive learning experience. The owner of Rolang, Mona Pologea, is committed to maintaining their reputation as the best Romanian language school in Romania, and this is evident in every aspect of their program. The quality of their own textbook, which I used during my online classes, was very good, with well-structured lessons and practical exercises that helped me to apply what I had learned. The textbook catered to students of all proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced, making it an invaluable resource for anyone interested in learning Romanian.Communication with the school's administration and teachers was efficient and effective, even though my learning was conducted entirely online. The staff at Rolang were always willing to answer any questions I had and provide me with the support I needed to succeed in my studies. As a teacher trainer myself, I was particularly impressed by the quality of the instruction provided by the Rolang teachers (I worked with Sînziana, Christina and Mona). They were knowledgeable, engaging, and able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Their feedback on my progress was always constructive and helped me to identify areas where I needed to improve.I believe that as a teacher educator, I have a discerning eye for quality instruction, and I can confidently say that the teachers at Rolang are exceptional. Their dedication to their craft is evident in the way they teach and the results they achieve with their students.Overall, I would highly recommend Rolang to anyone looking to learn Romanian online. The dedication of their teachers, the owner's commitment to excellence, the quality of their textbook, and the efficient communication with the school's administration and teachers make it the best language school for learning Romanian.
M FB: Took my first Romanian class in life :)Having learned the language only through my parents and perhaps their friends, meant that I only learned how to speak. With 16, I started teaching myself reading and writing.I listened to more Romanian music and connected to more Romanian speakers in uni and outside.I thank ROLANG School for having given me the opportunity to do my classes online and in the evening and encourage anyone who wants to learn Romanian to reach out to them :)Given the results, I can jump straight to C1 and hope to excel at it :D
Mohamad Rakka: Rolang School with its Romanian Language teaching approach has made my Romanian experience easier and exciting. As an international student of Limbă Română (Romanian Language), now I feel more confident in expressing myself among the Romanian society.Mulțumesc mult Rolang Școală!Mohamad Rakka
Christopher McCall: Rolang was an excellent school. They organised a course very quickly at short notice and the teachers and teaching materials were superb. Definitely a good choice!
Samraj Bhullar: I had a great time at the Rolang School. The teachers were very supportive and encouraging. Even though I was a beginner they were able to answer any questions I had. They were also very kind in sharing Romanian history and culture which I really appreciated.
Frank Liney: I'm so happy to have found Rolang and to have been able to continue my studies of Romanian.I very much appreciate the friendly atmosphere in every class and the excellent Romanian manual which gives real structure to the learning. Both the teachers and the back office team have always been super responsive and quick to assist with any question or request.
YEN RU HUANG: The lessons are very professional. I have learned a lot of new things about Romanian! Mihaela is an excellent teacher. She is very organized, encouraging and supportive. Helped students with their pronunciation when they were struggling. She sought to understand what troubled students cant figure out the grammar. Consistently with patience to repeat again. Learning a new language with a pleasant atmosphere. It helps me to memorize. And I appreciate Assistant Manager Cristina, I always receive such prompt replies from her. I highly recommend Roland school!
NINA MARIA PREDA: Rolang School is the best Romanian language school for foreigners from Romania, Bucharest!I highly recommend this school!Thank you Mona!
Rebecca Lee: Great teachers and super organised! Can get the best teaching for your learning style and heaps of fun
Ruslan Skryshevskyi: I strongly recommend Rolang School to learn Romanian because here teachers are with high qualification level and they really teach you a language. I tried to find courses to learn Romanian for several years. Finally I found Rolang School and my dreams came true :-)
Fernando Salgado Ribeiro: Thank you, Oana Andreea Stoe and ROLANG School. It was a very pleasant and useful time for me, because I feel much more comfortable to express myself in Romanian.I wish you success in the future and I hope to have another opportunity to study on a C1 level course with you.
Haneen Alrifae: Highly recommended, very professional and patient teachers, will gladly repeat the lesson when you need, they simply love what they do !
Rue B: I just simply want to say thank you to Rolang for this great experience which is just the beginning of my long journey in learning Romanian. I had an awesome teacher, Mihaela, who just made me confident in this journey. I definitely would 1000%😎😎 recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn Romanian. It is just the beginning for me but I am confident the journey will be a smooth and awesome one. Mulțumesc mult Rolang😊😊😊
Jonathan Chattey: I have now enjoyed 2 x 8 week courses and I feel I really am making some progress. Great teacher and a fun group.

British Council: what do users think?
Rose Dawson: Quite a decent service but in true Romanian fashion quite clumsy. Called first in order to make sure that they offer certification services ( they do only for academic ones) and inquire about the prices. Obtained the information in quite a decent English and timely manner. Called a second time a month later to make sure that the information l was given innitially was still up to date. Well, this time around, the lady who answered was overwhelmed by the task of having a conversation in fluent English and went back and forth trying to find the required information. I was able to put together the bits of broken English and understand that the information l obtained during my first call to them was up to date. I apparently had to fill in two request forms, one for each document and payment can only be done via bank transfer because they do not have a pos device on site. Armed with these bits of information l went there. As it turns out, having your documents certified is an easy , fast process that takes 10-15 minutes ( it was not busy when I went on a Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 pm). However, for some reason, no one requested that I fill in the certification request forms so l honestly do not know if it was a mistake on their part or if it is not needed after all. I just paid for the certification 40 Ron ( 20 Ron each) and left with my newly certified papers. Prices vary depending on the documents,so they said, but for masters degree certificate and transcript this is what they charge at this time. One important thing to remember is that although this is the British Council people tend to speak Romanian so do not expect to be greeted in English or for it to be the default language. If you go there in person or call it is a good idea to have someone that speaks fluent romanian around or use your knowledge if you speak the language as a little Romanian goes a long way when you need any of the services they provide here. All in all a decent place but to be dealt with only when needed. They also offer IELTS tests and needless to say equipment is ancient ( they almost ruined my hearing with the excessively loud recordings), staff is Romanian and their manners ( in some cases) and proficiency in English leave a lot to be desired.
Indrajit BK: Positive:Quality
Iuliana BOZKURT: We were very happy with the courses provided by British Council. The teacher, Ms Sorana Dragomir, is a wonderful person and she is very close to the kids. I can also see that my daughter's English level has improved tremendously. Personally, I would highly recommend this institution. It is the absolute go-to for those who want to learn good British English.
Sorina L: THE PRAISED TREE. TEACHERS WHO YELL AND HURT CHILDREN! BAD ORGANIZATION WITH HOURS OF WAITING IN THE QUEUE!!!After 3 years of classes, I can say that you are lucky if you have a good teacher, or a native one. It is clear that they have problems finding staff. In 3 years, we only had Romanian teachers, without special qualities, on the contrary. If you meet teacher Alina Modoaca, expect screams and insults addressed to the children! Like: "you are the weakest in British". And lots of girls. You will receive an apology from the management if you notice that the teacher is yelling and offending. That's all...You will wait in queues for over 2 hours to be able to take the course support which cannot be picked up otherwise: it can only be taken from the British Council library, and in the first weeks after the start of the courses, there is a huge queue, it takes 2 hours to your turn will come. The course starts, you miss class sessions, without having the support if you are not willing to wait hours. The same queue for various other requests: registrations, library, etc.For the rest, in the main headquarters in Dorobati, the auxiliary building where classes are held has some small rooms, without external windows, where the children enter the evenings, one after the other, in a stale, sometimes unbreathable air. See the virus season! - It is the best spreading medium. Small, unventilated spaces and always cold children. It's a ruckus and a crowd rarely encountered at the exit from the class - all the classes leave at the same time and you actually step on your feet on the aisle and on the stairs. This is what the British Council has been like in recent years. Maybe it was different, but that's what we experienced. I think the learning methods are the only good thing, but until the results, you pay too much nerves... and of course your money and time. And there would be something else: they offer classes from 14:00 to 17:30. That is, 3 hours of classes for 9-10 year olds. Isn't that too much? 3 hours of class for children who come from school anyway? Can they be attentive and have good results? We will look for another course!

British School of Bucharest: what do users think?
Jonathan Miller: I had the pleasure of applying for my son to attend this school, and I must say, the support we received from the admissions team was truly exceptional. From start to finish, they were there for us every step of the way, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Despite having to cancel our relocation, I am genuinely amazed by the unwavering professionalism and kind-heartedness displayed by the wonderful individuals at this school. Their commitment to excellence and genuine care for families like ours is truly commendable.
Zakaria Khalil: Lovely school, great people and community
Aline Iri: They treat kids depending their clothes. If you have designer clothes you are your favorite pet.The coordinators speak with adults like with kids.
ANTONIA BOGDAN: Very rude employees , no organisation, no fair explanations, they blame people.
Colinda Pijnenburg: We went through the entire application process in anticipation of our move to Bucharest. Filling in different forms, submitting essential documents, 3-hour test, online interview. After these efforts, it became quiet. No response to emails. The last hurdle was physically visiting the school. During this visit, the message was that a committee meets every week to decide on new applications. But it remains silent. Not a single response. So you pay 250 euros for: nothing.
Timur Strobykin: Takanaka always closed also they have sus activities performed in there
David Alexandru Ilie: eh it's alright
Pohoda TV: Pravidla jako v totalitní diktatuře. Pro tuto školu jsou děti otroci
Marcia Zerva: No words to express our gratitude for this school and the work done from the teachers! Our child excelled in all aspects .. behavior and academics!
Rares Grecu: World class institution.
Jurubita Mariana: Very good school with exceptional educational programs, with an outdoor playground and with security provided for the safety of the students. Western teachers.
Paraschevi: It is the best! Highly recommended!
ABU TURKI:
Syed Aslam Ali: Covers a large area. Full of extra curricular activities for children. Suitable for expats working in Romania.
mohammed sattar (‫دليل محمد الشمري‬‎): Nice

Stefania Simona: ! Aaa,pardon..! Avem dovada( doar tranzacțiile bancare
J E: company in restructuring....
Liudmyla: The most unprofessional teachers with a strong accent I have had in MyClass online lessons from Romania.
Corina Nicolescu: Interesting experience for kids while learning english. Great respect for kids and for their education
Cristina IC: Amazing staff! Very polite and helpful.
Valentin Ștefan Tănase: I had to take a 45 min test and only after that I found out that the earliest I could start the course was in two months time
maria m: Very bad service. They refused me the right to attend the exam as confirmed due to the fact that they did not registered the payment. I was calling more the 1 to assure that they have the payment and send emails as well being after assured that I can come and take the exam as everything is ok. I came at the examination location and an British employee refused me this right without traying to find a solution stating that this is not here job and she has a process to follow. I asked here to find a solution or call someone to find a solution so that I can not lose this examination data and she said that there is no solution. No customer support , lack of knowledge and empathy. Very low informed personal and 0 professionalism and involvement. This is this company a company that offer low services for the customer here in Bucharest Romania. I am disappointed to see such unprofessional people without knowledge and proactivity in finding solutions. Very bad experience and I strongly do not recommend this school ever .
Phil C.: As a Romanian with foreign residency I had to pass an exam here many years ago after I moved to Bucharest whilst undergoing online studies at the The Open University. The host seemed very suspicious and unfriendly with no hint as to why, and the exam papers, including sketches were collected carelessly by hand with no envelope. The exam was failed and this experience has also contributed to me dropping the studies. Never again will I trust my money and competences to other people, whilst living in Romania! Throughout many years there I have learned that Romanians envy and secretly hate other Romanians coming from the West. It's better if you just stay in the West and turn your back to Romania forever. Let them hate eachother within their national borders!
iFrosty22: I recently took the IELTS exam with the British Council. Large exam rooms, the measures against Covid-19 are respected, and the results arrived on time. I received the diploma on the set date without any problem. The only mention would be that one of the supervising professors, when I approached him at the end of the exam, gave me erroneous information about sending the diploma to the faculty, and I was going to clarify it through an email to which I received an immediate response. In conclusion, despite the bad words previously read in the reviews, I, not having a history with the British Council, do not consider that I was wronged or "stolen".
Nika Vasilyeva: Very good courses, the teachers are very well prepared and manage to make the courses attractive and effective in learning English. The groups are not large and are diversified. Congratulations!
In concluzie, nu recomand acest institut.(Translated by Google

Cambridge Assessment English Romania: British Council Romania is an authorised Cambridge Assessment English exam centre in Romania and one of our key strategic partners. Maria Șipoteanu: The exam results come very, very hard!!!
PAL TAN: Located in a beautiful area of Bucharest, the location is full of culture and civilization, any activity is worthwhile, nice people. The British air is felt at every moment, every exam given there was a wonderful experience. Revaming
Marina Alexandru: The courses are very good. The only problem is the children who are disrespectful and always disturb the classes. I speak all the time in Romanian and over the teacher. And on top of that, they are also violent.
Mariana Mitroi: My child goes to classes with great pleasure; the staff is trained, the conditions are decent. I recommend with confidence.
Simona AIG: Ok.
A D: Quality is something very variable depending on the situation and the various employees you interfere with - customer care, teachers, etc.The conclusion - in Romania, everything breaks down.
Radu Stefan: If you want to learn or deepen the English language, this is the most suitable place.
Sorina L: THE PRAISED TREE. TEACHERS WHO YELL AND HURT CHILDREN! Cambridge School of Bucharest: what do users think?
Titan094: A great school, with some good teachers, but sometimes they exaggerate with the punishment, but they have good brake program, because they split the kids into age sections, so to sum up everything I believe that this school is maybe the best private school in Bucharest, but it can get better by day and it will be a perfect choice for kids and parents to go to. 🦍❌In the paragraph that was upwards I may or may not said the full truth;) 😱
Rares Huidu: It could be better...much better!
ANTONIA BOGDAN: Very professional and organised.Helphul and polite stuff.

Oana Corniciuc: Halloween party with hands! The teacher asks us to be understanding, so they know how to have fun :(. Halal education
PAOK ADDICT: poor facilities
IrishBoy: never attended, vlad said it was naspa
Onyx Aaa: Lose weight
John Elius: Total rip-off...
Razvanescu: the building did not comply with any standard of the architecture of the area and even less the height regime of the buildings around.
Octavian Tudoroiu: A good school, I also recommend it. But with a note: as in any institution in Romania, the money has the last word. If parents are influential, their children can do anything.
Loser Navy: I like that place because it very nice and beautiful
Ifeoluwa Banke: It's cool best place for me
Alexandru Dusan: I always choose the best and this school is simply the best school in Bucharest where your children can get the proper education.
Andreea Pasca: From the academic program to food services and tons of extracurricular activities available to join, the quality of this school is outstanding. Cozy campus, friendly staff, well prepared teachers and most important happy kids. Received a lot of recomandations for it from close friends and i would say they proved beyond expectations.
NYC DIY: Best private school in Bucharest by far, a valuable option for my daughter. Great location, organised staff, big classrooms, nice environment.
Vlad Barbalata: My kid received a proper British education. Would definetly recommend!

Native English School: what do users think?
Irina Oghină: With Native English School my daughter is learning English in a playful way and she's always eager to start her next class. Her progress over just a few months is impressive, she went from knowing just a few words to making sentences and understanding basic conversations. Highly recommended!
Andreea Cadar: My child's english is much better since he start study at Native English School. Mark is a very good professor and Patrick is loves his online classes. At A2 exam, Patrick got the maximum score. Thank you, Mark, thank you Samantha and Native English School for your involvement in education.
Alina-Laura Bratila: Great method for excellent results! I am so happy I found Native English School for my son. He is 8 years old and he speaks english very well due to almost 3 years with you. Learning with natives helps a lot to improve and develop the best english skills. Thank you!
Raluca Marin: We have had a great experience with Native English School. Teachers are very involved and they make the course interactive and pleasant for the children.
Madalina Smochina: I'm very pleased about this course, it is very dynamic, it develops free speech, writing, reading in a well-structured program with a very very nice teacher.
Ramona Ciciu: The best approach for a natural learning process. The classes are so creative and interactive. My son’s English has improved very much in a short period of time.We are very pleased with his progress at Native English School. Totally recommended!!
Camelia Petriceanu: I recommend these English courses.
Dana Carstoiu: Both my Kids have had classes by Native English School: my daugter (8) for cca 1 year and my son (11) for 6 months and they love it. The teachers know how to make the class attractive and the children get confidence with speaking as learning is done having fun. It is mostly for improving conversational skills and less related to writing: there are supporting materials but my Kids do not write during the classes. I believe it is the perfect way for classes that take place after school. To conclude, the experience with NES is a positive one and I definitely recommend them.
Florin Cotoc: My daughter is taking the NES courses from March 2021 and after a year the progress made is visible. Moreover, this course managed to make her fall in love with English and now she looks forward to every lesson. The alchemy of the teachers with the students is special and the lessons are attractive and funny.
Ileana S: Interactive English lessons with native teachers. Emphasis is placed on conversation and interactive methods that children like a lot. I also recommend it for preparing for the Cambridge exams.
Ana Maria: The quality of the educational act, the small groups, the teaching methods - all clearly superior to the alternatives on the market. After 1 year of the British Council in which the evolution was zero, my children are learning English with pleasure and at an accelerated pace.5/5 for 2 and a half years of exceptional collaboration.
Madalina C: Matei has been teaching at this school since April 2020, so we are already entering the 2nd year of weekly lessons with Native English School. He likes the lessons, he also likes the team and the fact that some are more advanced than him is an advantage because he learns not only from the teacher, but from his colleagues. We have homework to do in the form of short videos that he makes every time with delight, and I am happy that the focus is also on grammar in class, but especially on expression and vocabulary - that is, exactly what you need when you go to a trip anywhere in the world: to do well in conversations. For us, classes with Native English have the optimal combination of learning and fun.
Oana Stanciu: We are very satisfied with the school with native English teachers. My son learned very quickly and now has very good grades in school. I am sure that it will be useful to him in the future, in whatever job he qualifies. The teaching method is student-friendly, they play while learning and progress very well. I highly recommend this school.
English Club: Positive:ValueA safe and comfortable space for children to learn and practice their English language skills.
Dana R: The most beautiful experiences lived by children! Learn and have fun!
Alunga Sobolanii: Children learn by playing!
