Rupert Wolfe Murray: This is perhaps the most exceptional gallery in Bucharest. Here are my reasons why:It is small and you can see what's inside from the street. This is a huge advantage as most galleries are behind barriers (doors, fees, corridors) which keep me out most of the time. Also I can only absorb a few pieces at a time and big places overwhelm me.Their selection is superb. They don't just show any old thing like most galleries I've seen in Romania, but the works are well curated. You can see what's on now in my photos.The owner is the real thing -- a real impresario, full of life and energy and enthusiasm (unlike the depressed attendants in mos galleries).They have a selfie mirror next to the gallery so we can have fun taking silly photos. Why are fun and art so often not connected?They have a stylised, rusty metal covering that looks great even when it covers the shop window. At night they leave the lights on and you can see inside. Smart move.Finally, it is located right next to the best shop in Bucharest -- the French Revolution, creator of the best eclairs in the world.Worth a detour.

brah f: не знаю що сказати. Знімала готель за 400€ ніч, люкс номер. З люксу виявилась тільки ціна і вид з вікна. Вечеряла в ресторані при готелі, замовила пасту карбонару і її приготували так, ніби вперше про неї чули. Потім я замовила восьминога в соусі, але мене нажаль не попередили що вийде дуже перчене. Потім я замовила десерт, від якого теж не була в захваті. заплатила досить велику ціну за зіпсовані страви які неможливо було їсти. В номері старий душ, в мене вдома вже навіть такого нема. Балконне скло матове не від заводу, а від часу вже. Двері на балкон відкриваються так, що мені довелось радитись з бабусею, дуже старий і незрозумілий замок. Виходячи на балкон і опускаючи очі вниз - можна в щілині побачити крильце засипане окурками. Ввечері я йшла до готелю пішки і на території готелю між туями шайка тарганів доїдала чиєсь морозиво. Десь в пʼяти хвилинах від готелю циганія тебе сталкеритиме шоб ти поділився леями.Я в культурному шоці, чесно.

Dimitrie Teodosiu: O zi frumoasa prin D’ Orsey ul Bucurestiului!Poate ar trebui sa strigam,poate sa plangem sau poate sa devenim neutrii, dezinteresati de ceea ce ne inconjoara, si totusi…. Ne ducem cu totii cuprinsi de dorinta de a ne scufunda in Art Safari, de a face bai de cultura in expozitii temporare, de a fi vazuti la targul de carte sau la festivaluri de teatru de strada. Sigur, e mai usor sa fii duminica pe Calea Victoriei sau in centrul vechi sa impusti doi , trei iepuri dintr o lovitura. Plimbare, bere, safari , mancare, un teatru de strada si suntem buni de ziua de luni. Om langa om . Pe Calea Victoriei, aproape de domeniul Academiei Romane descoperim o cladire in forma de U, cu o curte generoasa bordata de un gard din fier forjat. Locul pare pustiu , aproape nimic nu ti indica ca poti intra. Nimeni nu te ia de mana, nimeni nu te pofteste sa vezi, sa ti ofere dreptul la a admira arta la ea acasa. Nu adusa prin expozitii facute sa cheltuiasca bugetul primariei si sa impinga banii in buzunare fara fund. Am intrat in curte cu sfiala, cu putina frica ca voi deranja pe cineva din somn. Somnul ratiunii naste monstrii asa ca am strabatut cu curaj curtea admirind statuile , copacii, florile si visele oamenilor care au sperat candva ca noi vom intra acolo, ca l vom vedea pe Tonitza, zeci…. pe Grigorescu, pe Patrascu , pe…. pe cine vreti voi din cei de la noi, nu unul, doi ci sute !!! Daca va propuneti sa l vedeti pe Tonitza la Art Safari cu doua vestite tablouri eu va propun sa vedeti cateva zeci acolo, alaturi de cateva sute de alte lucrari ale majoritatii pictorilor ramani. Nicaieri nu veti avea ocazia sa admirati pictura , sculptura si grafica romaneasca ca in acele incaperi uitate de noi pentru ca nu sunt in ghidurile Bucurestiului. Nu tu reclama , nu tu panouri, afise doar spatii aproape goale. Dar cat de pline de istorie, de valoare, de forma si culoare. Mergeti acolo ca sa puteti fii mandrii ca ati vazut aproape tot ce merita din arta Romaneasca! Veti gasi acolo totul si chiar mai mult!
