ILANY SCHWARTZ: It was considered one of the oldest and most beautiful restaurants in Bucharest, with good food and moderate prices. Now, it became a "factory", long wait, and meals from very good to less than medium quality. The french fries arrived almost cold, the mititei ( still good) ...I asked to be well done, and they served it almost "vivant". At least, the mustard was very good.
Maksymilian Majer: This is a typical tourist location. It was recommended to me by at least five different people as the great place for local cuisine. While the building and the atmosphere have a great vibe with live music and dance performances, the food isn't the best I've had. The local skinless sausages were nice, but the French fries were just awful - not crispy at all. There are better options to eat local food in Bucharest.

The person tending the desk invited me to leave the store at 19:52 (right after entering) saying he had already closed, although they are supposed to close at 20:00, and I already knew what I wanted to buy so it would only have taken him a minute to scan the book and process the payment. Disgusting. Maybe they should post the real opening hours so that I know exactly when to bother the lazy clerk.
José Ignacio Zomeño: The books are not very good ordered or specially good priced and the clerk was not friendly AT ALL. He told me to put my surgical mask back on after I removed it for two seconds to clean up my nose with a kleenex (my girlfriend did the same thing five minutes before and he did not say nothing, curiously enough).I grabbed two books, priced 22 and 58 lei respectively. When I approached the clerk to pay the books, he charged me 26 and 68 respectively. When I told him that he did not update the prices written on the back of the books and that he should have told me the actual prices before collecting the money, he reacted quite aggresively telling me that it was his mistake and that he had not had time to update them in a really loud tone.I paid the book and went away, but I am never returning again if I come back to Bucharest and I don't recommend the bookstore to anyone. In Spain at least, the price you see posted on the item you wanna buy is the price you finally pay, if the clerk does not update it is NOT the client's problem. To add insult to injury, he (the clerk) reacted with bad manners. Maybe he had a bad day, but that's no way to treat a client in any circumstance.Aside from the angry clerk, it is a regular English bookstore with books you can find in any other place.
Bloodmoon Beard: A very diverse selection in books: poetry, philosophy, and romanian literature translated into English. The seller that helped me today was very friendly, and gave me some really good recommendations about romanian writers, and I endes up getting one. Will definitaly visit this place again when I'm back in Romania. Worth every and all 5 stars.

The music was great and I recommend it to everyone. the security was strict but overall nicely behaving asking for my GH bracelet before re-entering. I don't remember seeing anyone being denied entrance or getting kicked out, but from what I understand if you're dressed cleanly and behave appropriately you will have some great time at Guesthouse. Don't dress glamorously, don't cause trouble and don't take pictures/videos inside because it's forbidden and if you get caught you will be kicked out. I can't wait to return here on my next trip to Bucharest.

Od bramy wejściowej do samego wejścia, kilkaset metrów(dodam, ze wszystko w słońcu i upale po 30 stopni). Tylko z przewodnikiem(który wg opinii lokalsów i strażników ma określony czas na prowadzenie wycieczki). Brak możliwości zakupu biletu online.. ogólnie - nie zwiedziłem. Samo dojście do pałacu jest sporym wyzwaniem dla osób większych czy starszych. Tylko z zewnątrz popatrzyłem. Ogólnie - organizacja sporo w tyle za Europą...

Ovidiu: The building is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the guided tour is worth much less than its price. It's short, in a few conference rooms and hallways, nothing really impressive, way below expectations. We were not even invited to see the meeting room of the Chamber of Deputies. The guide didn't seem to know more than what a 7th grader can write copying from wikipedia, plus some rumors and legends about what Nicolae Ceaușescu wanted but didn't do or did. He said that the intention was for the headquarters of the Romanian Communist Party to be in this building. Antonio Vera: El sueño de un loco con megalomania. Enormes espacios con mármoles blancos e infinitas lámparas. Lo que más me gustó las vistas desde su terraza. Tuvimos suerte y pudimos sacar las entradas un poco antes de la visita, no sé si será lo habitual o conviene reservar.

Rose Direk: Many people at night. Very dirty - you can even see the cloth under the windows is dark from dirt and pigeons sleep inside of it. There are also broken windows. It's pretty to see once but I wouldn't spend the night partying under. The history behind the passage is nice - The old Inn was bought by Petros Seraphim, who gifted it to two of his daughters as dowries. Daughter Polixena married in 1843 Xavier Vilacrosse, Chief Architect of Bucharest, 1840–1848, the Inn renamed after him. Daughter Anastasia married Mihalache Macca, who built luxury shops on their part. In the late 1880s, the city decided to buy the sites to build a Western style passage to relieve congestion. It was designed by architect Felix Xenopol, and opened in 1891.
