British School of Bucharest: what do users think?
Jonathan Miller: I had the pleasure of applying for my son to attend this school, and I must say, the support we received from the admissions team was truly exceptional. From start to finish, they were there for us every step of the way, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Despite having to cancel our relocation, I am genuinely amazed by the unwavering professionalism and kind-heartedness displayed by the wonderful individuals at this school. Their commitment to excellence and genuine care for families like ours is truly commendable.
Zakaria Khalil: Lovely school, great people and community
Aline Iri: They treat kids depending their clothes. If you have designer clothes you are your favorite pet.The coordinators speak with adults like with kids.
ANTONIA BOGDAN: Very rude employees , no organisation, no fair explanations, they blame people.
Colinda Pijnenburg: We went through the entire application process in anticipation of our move to Bucharest. Filling in different forms, submitting essential documents, 3-hour test, online interview. After these efforts, it became quiet. No response to emails. The last hurdle was physically visiting the school. During this visit, the message was that a committee meets every week to decide on new applications. But it remains silent. Not a single response. So you pay 250 euros for: nothing.
Timur Strobykin: Takanaka always closed also they have sus activities performed in there
David Alexandru Ilie: eh it's alright
Pohoda TV: Rules like in a totalitarian dictatorship. For this school, children are slaves
Marcia Zerva: No words to express our gratitude for this school and the work done from the teachers! Our child excelled in all aspects .. behavior and academics!
Rares Grecu: World class institution.
Jurubita Mariana: Very good school with exceptional educational programs, with an outdoor playground and with security provided for the safety of the students. Western teachers.
Paraschevi: It is the best! Highly recommended!
ABU TURKI: رائع وجهد جميل
Syed Aslam Ali: Covers a large area. Full of extra curricular activities for children. Suitable for expats working in Romania.

International School of Bucharest: what do users think?
puti apeste: School for girls and that's it
Savas Yildirim: The best international school in Romania.IB diploma and Cambridge program.ISB was founded in 1996 in a rented building with a total of just 17 pupils to meet the needs of the English-speaking community. Within a couple of years the school had grown in both size and scope. In order to serve an increasingly mobile international community, the curriculum gradually took into consideration the practices and requirements of a number of different systems. In 2001 the School became the first CIE Exam centre of Romania in order to run IGCSE examinations. The step of becoming a CIE exam centre and the school offering an IGCSE and AS/A level programme has further influenced the multicultural outlook of teachers and students. More than 40 countries are currently represented in the student body.
Ioana Stancu: The school is far from what it pretends to be, it has a rigid and strictly commercial approach to education, that only mimics the standards of international education.
ihsan yiğit: Veryy good....

King's Oak British International School: what do users think?
Paraskevi Alexiou: When we should leave the country, two months before the end of the school year, and we asked online support for one of our 3 kids (a service that already had till that time due to covid), in order to graduate from year 1, they refused although they were paid for the entire school year. Although they’ve been told we didn’t request dedicated teacher for her and we wanted just to be online and watch the lesson they didn’t accept.Of course they wouldn’t refund the money so they didn’t care.Generally an overrated school with few good teachers.
Марта Максимівна Сажин: I want to say big thanks for this kindergarten! My son had amazing time there, and i also was calm and felt that my son in safe place. Thank u for helping Ukrainian people with discounts and even more🙏🏼 🏼
Tech stuff: This school is really bad because teachers are Verbally abusing kids and has a poor level of education for example in one year my child learned nothing! This school is very bad don’t recommend
Fabiola Meister: We have loved this school, it has given my children an amazing start in their education. I have two boys who enrolled at King’s Oak from the age of 18 months until 12 and 9 years old. We have appreciated the amazing teachers, their professionalism, the high standard of teaching and the attention to individual kids. My eldest son was accepted in a top boarding school in UK based on the hard work of this school. I cannot recommend it enough.
Keren Temelie: King's Oak is the best school in Bucharest. If you are looking for a school that your child will feel safe, loved and well educated. The level of the curriculum is very high and the teachers are amazing in all aspects.Another important thing is the fact that the school has many nationalities and celebrate it so each and every child feels at home. The surrounding of the school is absolutely stunning as its located by a beautiful lake in a very green and quite area.I would like to praise the school especially in the Covid period. While online studding, the children adapted very well due to the teacher's attitude and approach that was so professional. While coming back to school, the school invested in ventilation systems and other measurements and adjustment were taken in order to keep the children safe. Comparing with other schools in Bucharest, the school always looked for a way to be open and even added another hour to recuperate the time that was lost during the pandemic. Last but not least, I would like to note the fact that in cases of covid at school, they didn't close the whole school and chose to quarantine only the children in that specific class. All of the above showed me how the school is innovative, creative and responsible, this goes along with great teachers and staff that really care about my children's education and well being.
Vlad: Very nice place to be, come and be happy
Alex Ardelean: I like the quality of the management, of the staff in general. I belive the management tried to find the best solutions in an abnormal situation, like the covid pandemic. It's up to each and every one of us what school we will choose for our kids. But i will recommend this school to my friends and other parents.
Mihnea: Fantastic institution of education
Hefy Wefy: Great schoolAlso make bigger portions of lunch
MOCANU TUDOR ANDREI: Best school!!!
Silvia Stefanova: With the new School Director the quality of the school dramatically changed. Some teachers treat the children really badly (screaming, or punishing them in front of the class for days).During COVID period decisions are becoming unacceptable, often out of any logic. Children stay home most of the time for variety of reasons, including "unconfirmed" covid case. We are asked to perform tests quite often, even for "unconfirmed" cases. The director is imposing quarantine, which is not even in line with government rules.Extreme disappointment and really poor management.
Alexis Christescu: The best school! I am lucky to go to such a school where every child is valued and learning is fun!
Amanda Ereiz: It is the BEST SCHOOL in Bucharest. My kid is very happy and the Principal, teachers and staff are fantastic. Great job!
Beniamin Ivan: Best school I ever seen.
sorin susnea: One of the best private schools in Romania, my little girl is very happy!
Livnat Solomon: Great school!
Ben Martens: Great School! Our kids are very happy there.
Bucharest INSPE: Welcome to the International School for Primary Education (InSPE) where we pride ourselves on the international environment and aspect of the school.

Verita International School: what do users think?
Consiliere Cariera: Worst place ever! No respect, no consideration! Actually a making money machine amd nothing more!🤢
Cristian Pauna: This school was a big disappointment for us, with a lack of professionalism and no respect for a new candidate. The school needed 6 weeks to inform us that there was no available place for our child. Meanwhile, after visiting the school, the child waited for the announced entrance test, which the school never scheduled.
angela ratcu: a very good school with dedicated teachers!
Andreea Munteanu: Verita school ensures that besides academic skills the students develop also the social-emotional skill.
Iulia Alexandra Nicolescu: One of the top schools in Romania!
Monica Draghici: VERITA is a learning concept where children are noticed and valued by people with amazing experience.
Pricopie Florentina: O recomand cu drag! 3
Gina Duminica: Verita International School is focused on the well being and healthy children development through a warm approach towards children.Raising children, we raise the future together with Verita International School!
John Elius: A shameful work environment with low quality staff and sly managers. This institution should not exist.
Marian Vitan: the employer's behavior leaves much to be desired. I don't even want to know how the students are treated
Florina Drossu: Looks good
Romina Maghrebi: if i could give 0 stars, I definitely would have as a former student. Worst school every, if you care about your child future and mental health dont even consider this school.
Corina Zaharia: Education with kindness
Mara M: Verita school
Victor Arrieta: Me and my family are grateful with Verita International School for the attention in educational, direction and all the extraordinary curriculum that they as educational institutions bring for my kids. If you are expat the best place to roll in your kids is this school.I requested to my company update the guideline and suggest Verita and now, I saw children’s of my colleagues in this school and the feeling is the same.During three years I received wrong messages for my kids in their previous schools, even I thought that Romanian private education system is just bla bla... a system to get money, but this school show me other way of education. I recommend this institution.
Andreea Alexandrescu: Verita School is just wonderful. The children are always happy and they learn a lot through hands-on experiences. They come home with knowledge they can express in their own words, in drawings or concrete objects, showing they really understand the topics which were taught at school. They learn to identify and process their emotions and others', to be more aware of their bodies, thoughts and feelings, as a main feature of the school program consists of emotional intelligence development and mindfulness. In all, a great experience for children and parents!
Reza Reflusmen Jr: In our experience enrolling our daughter to a school, Verita system is the best so far
Elena Livinti: Can I be enrolled in kindergarten again? :)
Simona Ghircoias: I strongly recommend this school :)
Viorel Cervis: Happy children, satisfied parents, the perfect place for your child's education!
Richard Joan: Verita school cultivates harmony and balance in children.

AISB SCHOOL: what do users think?
Mihai Sitea: Very nice! It is an example for our state schools!
Bear With: 😎
Scott Hopper: Not a fan of this school.
Tymon Danielewicz: i hate this place
Calimanescu Ciprian: UNFORTUNATELY, I was not admitted because I do not speak the language of George Washington, American. I saw that only Americans are here, many from New York, others from Los Angeles and others from Las Begas or whatever.
Dumitru George: Cfff beautiful....and luxurious....
Dr F C Deliu: Quite possibly the worst private school on the area. Their online classes are less than an hour a day, insufficient time is spent on learning and the administration is quite poor, and instead send endless amounts of email to give the impression they are working hard when in fact the teachers are hardly working. Every parent (dozens) I have spoken to is unhappy with the school, but it has the brand name and lives off that, but this past year it was exposed with its incompetence in handling the pandemic and many families have finally transferred, as have we and we could not be happier with our new school that actually places the children above profits.
Stefan Andries: Decent
Rares Grecu: Subpar service.
Guy Rorlich: Worst international school in Bucharest, they care only about money but not your kids. Run away it is my advice...
Chocookie: pay 2 win
Kàroly Borbély: Best school in town :)
Dixi Dixie: Is this school still open? I tried calling them, emailed them...no answer. We were thinking of moving from US to Romania. Now I would be afraid to put my kid in a school you can't get in contact with. Disappointing..
Ivano: A very safe, school, but needs to work on the teachers
viorel calin: Frumos si bine pentru copii
Adina Eugenia Popa: A wonderful school!
Elsa Lindelof: me and eric went here

Acton Academy Bucharest: what do users think?
cristina marinescu: I am the owner of the most precious gift in the world - my little girl, enrolled in Acton Academy Bucharest since September 2019, and from this position I briefly describe our experience and understanding so far, to bring clarification to those interested: the Acton concept is a revolutionary one on the market education in Romania, is an alternative education system, totally different from the classical one. In this community, children are heroes, and the academic process is a journey during which the heroes are guided to maximize their potential. Children are challenged to be independent and curious and encouraged to discover their special abilities that will give them wings and propel them forward. They are constantly urged to respect freedom of expression, to manage their own decisions and to learn from mistakes, all these aspects being carefully supervised by the guide-coordinator, with great care and consideration for the emotional development of each one.My child happily goes to Acton every day, he feels valued, supported and protected, I believe he has all the prerequisites to discover his true calling on this route.Parents willing to embark on this journey are presented with everything right from the start and have various information possibilities - from discussions with the owners and visits to the campus, Open House, trial day/week, websites of other branches, testimonials, etc. Of course, no guarantees are offered - like nothing else in this life - everyone is free to decide according to their vision, desires and personal values to what extent this model complements their own approach. In the Acton concept, parents are directly involved in every stage of the educational process, they are supported to understand, learn and progress together with the children, communication is regular and clear, to ensure the consistency of the route.Starting from the stated mission of Acton Academy: "to inspire each child to find a calling that will change the world", I recommend this schoolto all parents who want an open and innovative academic approach for their children, oriented towards the future.
Andreea Surlea: What I like most about Acton Academy is that the students have a lot of control about what they are learning, they get to pursue different subjects because they find them interesting not because they are under pressure to get a high mark on subjects established entirely by somebody else and meant to be the same for everybody, no matter their personal interests and passions.I love the accent put on community, and for me, more important than what my kids study is the way they learn to negotiate their relationships with their colleagues and the adults there, how they have to find the solutions to their everyday problems and challenges and for that I admire their wonderful guide for having the strength to not intervene. The campus also looks amazing, the outdoor space is large and well equipped, in the indoor spaces endless options of educational games, activities and books.Cristina, the founder has put her soul into this project, she stays true to the Acton principles and I love her positivity and the good energy si transmits.
Si daca te duci sa inveti cu placere, atunci asta devine ceva natural!(Translated by Google
Alina Pletea: (Translated by Google
Angelica Dumitrascu: Acton is a new concept of school, which was created by parents who believe that we become the best version of ourself by being listened, respected and inspired to believe that with every mistake we make, we grow and learn. My son is very happy here, he finds everything interesting and above all he is understood and listened.
Oana Dunel: We enrolled in this newly opened school in September 2019 with 2 children aged 7 and 9 respectively attracted by the different educational model and the modern campus, without having enough references about the people behind the business and unfortunately without taking into account that there were very few children enrolled, 7 in total, half of which were 5 years old. Subsequently, many red flags appeared, among which I will list only a few: passive aggressive language in communication with parents, preferential behavior towards certain parents at the expense of others, inconsistent behavior regarding rules and procedures, a lot of instability in the attitude of the school owner Cristina Dogarel, threats of expulsion if you allow yourself to point out the problems or ask for explanations about the children's poor school progress, financial pressure to make early payments, extremely low academic performance, children playing video games at school, not working enough on Core Skills , there were weeks when they worked a total of 6 minutes/week on the basic subjects and you are not allowed as a parent to get involved or put pressure on the child to work more because if you do that you immediately receive a Transition Contract by which you are warned that if you try to put "pressure" to work more or to take the level tests you will be immediately excluded from Acton! Basically parents have only obligations and no rights! It was a risky experiment, our children regressed a lot academically in the 6 months they spent at Acton and lost 1 year of days that we have to repeat at another school. We were frequently told that it is "normal" for a child to stay repeatedly at Acton even for several years in a row, but that he can later recover 2 years in 1. Only then you are threatened with exclusion/excluded at the pleasure of the owner who, without having no previous experience in the position of school manager treats parents with total lack of consideration and plays with school, thus you risk not getting to recover anything, you are only left with repetition, with school fees paid for nothing and with the children at home halfway school year, emotionally affected as a result of the sudden and unjustified loss of a sense of belonging to the group/community! After they excluded 4 children because the parents bothered with uncomfortable questions about school progress and had too many "pretensions", they closed their reviews on the FB page so that you can no longer leave negative impressions about the time you spent with them. We regret the bad choice enormously, but we fully accept it and we hope that whoever arrives at this school, will know how things are in reality and choose in the knowledge of the cause. We didn't have access to any kind of reviews, there was no history then being a newly opened school and unfortunately the experience at Acton Academy was a very unpleasant and expensive one!

Cristina Farcas: I recommend the MISB kindergarten for the variety and quality of the activities offered. I was particularly impressed by the friendship that has developed between the children and the fact that they also interact with colleagues from other years. The elegance of the building, the use of the uniform and the preparation of the meal in the premises are other assets.
Amalia Misterian: For a child who is very curious, smart, energetic, and independent, Miss Charissa and Miss Seray are the best teachers I could have hoped for. Thanks to them, MISB is a school where my daughter learns a lot, laughs a lot, and plays a lot.
Plash: Very good school for kids and children with good programs for education

Very talented and kind teachers that are trying to create positive associations with learning and problem solving with each kid.I would recommended it to any parent!
Razvan Alexandru: Private Kindergarten, Afterschool & Primary School which follow the British Curriculum.Maria Kinder Kids offers high quality education for children aged 2-12 years old, in a warm and relaxing environment. The institution is located in the center of Bucharest, Amzei Street, no.6, district 1
Cosmin Marinescu: I found the place warm and welcoming for the kids and the place itself is really amazing for a kindergarten, first of, because it is in the center of the city in magical-looking historical building and secondly because it is one of the not so many kindergartens that actually addresses the kids in English and German language - with really good focus on the little ones.No free parking in the area most of the times [but plenty of pay per hour].

Mark Twain International School: what do users think?
Сергей Шанс: We are very satisfied with our school, many thanks to the teachers and administration. Success and prosperity 💐
lmao Jonny: My comment many months ago has been deleted, as funny as it might seem. This school lacks so many protocalls and breaches hygenic rules. The canteen have spat in children's food and the director and administration well let's say they aren't the best. Teachers are sometimes good. As other schools in the area Mark Twain is the worst amongst them. They have a limited amount of space and need to renovate their Junior Campus.1,255 Euros for primary, if you have some good and common sense and care about your child's education well this isn't the place. You can go to maarif or atleast Cambridge for better results.

Mark Twain International School: what do users think?
Mihai Niculescu: God forbid you have to collect any money from them........Does not respect contracts or payment terms.
Odil Djunaidov: I had good impression about this school and overall about our stay in Romania. But all this was damaged from school side when they simply did not pay my money back to me when we were moving out from Romania although all was done in line with contract from my side.Just want to warn others to be very careful, school administration is totally unreliable, so stay far from this school.
David Salagean: Very bas they have rats as food
Iryna Kochubynska: The best private school in Bucharest and our Education in it. I want to share my impressions about this wonderful school and its wonderful director Orlandin. We moved from Ukraine in February and started looking for a school for our sons 3 and 6 years old and we were lucky to get to the Mark Twain school .The principal of the school personally gave us maximum time and showed us the school. The school is just wonderful, separate buildings are provided for kids, with separate bedrooms, their own dining room and a large playroom. For a group of children 3-4 years old, and there were only 8 children in the group, there were 3 teachers and one of the teachers from Ukraine. All teachers are very friendly and treat children very well. Many thanks to the director for such an excellent selection of staff who really loves children. Also, special thanks to the security guards - you are just lovely, love your work and children. I want emphasize that in this school there are three meals a day, a full breakfast and lunch and a snack for an afternoon snack. Both the younger and older child are happy m went to school. For family reasons, we were forced to move to Barcelona and none of the private schools in Barcelona that we visited can compare with Mark Twain. Every day we remember this school and have the warmest memories of it. There are also many mug, which are included in the cost of training (in Spain, all mugs are paid extra and we only get lunch from food for comparison) I express my admiration for the director Orlandina and her team of teachers, I send a big hello to Irina, Madalina, Gina,Korina, and the whole school team. You can be proud your school and your work.
Banjo: Not worth 12k
Sergiu M. Geamanu: I don't know how important you are to road safety, but your drivers certainly don't care. The car in the picture did not give priority to the roundabout in front of the Jolie Ville complex, seeing that I was in the right direction. If I didn't brake suddenly it would hit me.If even private schools do not attach importance to traffic safety, why should we be surprised that we have the highest death rate in road accidents in the EU
George Restivan: Great school with awesome staff!! They went above and beyond to accommodate my son. I highly recommend Mark Twain International School.
Fifa 23 gameplay: Very bad staff and only speaks Romanian
Andreea Popa: Wonderful school. A 15-17-year-old student with an order of 47 lei did not know and did not understand how much he should receive from a 100 lei banknote. So wonderful.
Anton Andreescu-Bembea: Very well made campus!
Nicolae Zimica: I hope they pay their employees on time now. This is the only way I can offer quality services.
Rares Grecu: 70% of the teachers speak only Romanian, horrible school avoid going here. Only slightly better than the worst Romanian public schools.
Vesa Kolakovic: All 5 star rewiews are fake because they were paid to post them. In reality this school is expensive, the food is so bad even pigs wont eat it, and 70% of teachers don't speak english.
Jackline Thomas: The glowing lantern festival was very wonderful such a creative and wonderful experience.
Irina P: A school that really values an international vision, high-quality education, the outmost care for the students and a rigorous academic programme that places student-centred learning and welfare at its core and helps all students become successful.
Mihai Gavrila: Extraordinary teachers. Thank you
Mioara Telita: Our experience at MTIS was great. A very good and “cool” teachers!😀. A school close to its students. You can choose between International Baccalaureate if you want to study abroad, or National Baccalaureate if you want to study in Romania. So, I recommend!
Eugen Cezarin Deaconu: I recommend!
Nicoleta Deaconu: A very good school! Nationally and internationally accredited school, which is based on education centered on the student and his needs. I recommend!
Georgeta Dobre: An international private school accredited by the Ministry of Education, but also IBO curriculum, dedicated teaching staff and wonderful students! I recommend!
Paul Veres: A wonderful school. Sweet teachers and smart principals! This school taught me what patience and friendship really mean. Children are friendly! And that's why I made many friends! Come Mark Twain International School!
